TFG Info Staff

The staff of Time for God work to ensure a successful year for both the volunteer and the placement - making sure both parties are supported and resourced properly.  Below are more detailed descriptions of each staff member.

LYNNETTE COLLINGE Administrator

The role of the administrator is to answer enquiries from potential volunteers and placements, oversee the applications process, and be in contact with volunteers throughout the process of being placed.  Once a volunteer arrives in the UK, the administrator will also arrange volunteers' travel to conferences and liaise with TFG's partner organisations as well as the European Voluntary Service (EVS)

 VICTORIA BULL Field Officer

The role of the field officer is to support the needs of all TFG volunteers and their placements.  Field officers remain in regular contact with both parties during a volunteer's time of service: being available to answer questions and addressing concerns, conducting one-to-one visits twice a year, facilitating conference sessions, and acting as EVS mentors to EVS volunteers.

CHRISSIE MAYER  Co-ordinator of 'Time For 2012' Programme & Field Officer

'Time For 2012' is a new initiative set up in partnership with the Barking Area Team of the Anglican Church to assist communities in using the excitement created by the Olympic and Paralympic Games to stimulate projects in their local communtities. The co-ordinator is involved in  recruiting volunteers who will work for 2 years from September 2010 until the end of the Games, and in setting up new projects to encourage community engagement in sport, culture and mission.

SUSANN HAEHNEL Field Team Leader

Similar to the field officer, the role of the field team leader is to support the needs of all TFG volunteers and their placements; this is through overseeing the operation of the field officer team.  In addition to the normal responsibilities as a field officer, the field team leader also liaises with TFG's international partners and manages the overall operation of the organisation's support for volunteers and placements.

 FIONA HOLLIDAY Finance Officer

In addition to overseeing the financial requirements of the organisation, the finance officer is responsible for setting up bank accounts for volunteers in the UK, distributing pocket money to volunteers every month, liaising with placements over monetary matters, as well as dealing with all inquires concerning finance issues of any term of service.

PAUL WEBSTER Deputy Chief Executive Officer

The deputy CEO is responsible for two parts of TFG's operation: training (to develop and co-ordinate all training delivered by TFG for volunteers and placements) as well as to manage the TFG staff team.

DAVID WILLIAMSON Chief Executive Officer

The CEO has oversight of all aspects of Time For God: strategic vision, volunteer programmes, training, finance, fundraising and publicity - ensuring that TFG is appropriately represented amongst relevant networks in the UK and internationally.  The CEO also sits on the Board of the Ecumenical Diaconal Year Network (EDYN),who coordinate the hosting and sending of volunteers throughout Europe.
